Motion/Branding Design Project

My task was to create a product or service from scratch and brand it. I chose to take inspiration from my previous online business with a twist, but keeping the name. The concept of this was also the same as my business, online retailer for home goods and furniture. How could I make something easy to use, while providing a necessary variety of products for customers to choose from. My UI Design skills were put to the test as I integrated everything from scratch creating a new version of Trendy Living. Through exploring two different creative directions I was able to come up with the right UI shots, color pallets, boarders and hierarchy. After drawing up the Lo-fi prototypes, I used some UI Kit essentials to place as component sections in the final draft. Through this project I learned how to organize components and apply motion transitions.

“Congratulations again on completing this project! You’re showing great control of both the conceptual and visual aspects of design — keep building on that momentum.”
